Talk Recordings

All talks at Foundations 2018 will be recorded to be deposited with the Archive for Mathematical Sciences and Philosophy. Speakers who do not want their talk to be recorded should notify the conference organisation.

 

About the Archive Trust:

  1. The Archive Trust is a Registered Charity based in Oxford, U.K. It is governed by a body of six Trustees, whose Chairman is Sir Roger Penrose FRS OM (and whose Secretary is Guido Bacciagaluppi, of the Organising Committee for Foundations 2018).
  2. A principal aim of the Trust is to create a video archive of significant scientific meetings, especially those on topics at the intersection of philosophy and the natural sciences and mathematics, the records of which can be made freely available to the wider international research community.
  3. The Trust currently safeguards an Archive of over 37,000 video and audio recordings dating back to 1973. It is currently engaged in a project supported by the University of British Columbia to digitize the older analog recordings and make the Physics-related portions of the Archive available online. Further information about this including a short promotional film can be found on the website of the Archive.

For speakers: you can download here the Release Form to either give permission for the recording of your talk to be made available online, or to restrict the use of the recording unless further written permission is given.
